Mark Salazar

Playing History:
In High School, Mark played baseball at Cathedral Catholic HS in San Diego, CA. Mark was rated top 100 in the nation by Baseball America and turned down the 3rd round of the MLB draft to the Houston Astros in 1997. Mark played in college for the Long Beach State Dirtbags and Shasta College. Mark also played semi professionally for for Evans City in PA and The Kenosha Kroakers.
Coaching History:
Mark has been coaching baseball for 25 years. Ages 8 to professional. As a head coach in CA, Mark helped lead their team to a conference and state Championship. Mark coached for the Palm Springs Power collegiate team in 2013 that won their league and the So Cal Collegiate League Championship. Prior to moving to Missouri Mark was running 4 faith based travel teams. Currently Mark manages and give lessons here at Playmakers.
Current Coaching Preference:
Mark enjoys working with players from youth levels up through college athletes who are serious about improving their skills and understanding of the game. Hitting and catching are Mark’s passion. Mark is very confident in coaching pitchers, outfielders and infielders as well.

Olivia Emery
OFFERING SOFTBALL PITCHING LESSONS
Olivia has played softball since I was three years old, and started pitching at the age of 8. I play for a national team, Tennessee MOJO. I have received the honors of All Conference, All District and All Region for Neosho High School. I was ranked #18 pitchers in the nation by Extra Inning Softball.
My preference for time is anytime after 4 pm for pitching lessons with 8-14 year olds
My favorite is chicken Alfredo!

A former player and coach at MSSU currently with Webb City baseball, Clay has extensive experience working with multiple hitters across all ages. This allows for instruction to be tailored to the hitter’s swing, and to get the most out of their abilities.
Drew davis

With 3 years of experience in coaching and player development, Drew Davis is a dedicated hitting instructor known for helping athletes unlock their full offensive potential. Drawing from a strong background as both a player and coach, Drew specializes in teaching fundamental and advanced hitting mechanics, mental approach at the plate, and individualized training plans tailored to each athlete’s strengths.
Michael Mulhollon
OFFERING BASEBALL HITTING & PITCHING LESSONS
Michael Mulhollon joins MSSU this year to the pitching staff as well as the outfield. Michael previously played at Wichita State University. While in Wichita, Michael coached area youth on both hitting and pitching. Michael worked with players from 8-high school.
Bradly Hershey

Bradly Hershey is a baseball instructor with a background playing at Missouri Southern State university and Coffeyville Community College. With experience at the collegiate level, Coach Hershey teaches pitching, fielding, and hitting, focusing on helping players improve their skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're looking to fine-tune your mechanics, boost your confidence on the mound, or become a more consistent hitter and fielder, Coach Hershey tailors lessons to meet each player's needs and helps them take their game to the next level.
Shadrach Salazar
OFFERING BASEBALL HITTING. & FIELDING LESSONS
Shadrach played baseball for The Light travel baseball team in San Diego, CA. He played in the Florida Homeschool World Series for 2 years before moving to Webb City, MO. Shad was a standout outfielder at Webb City High School in 2024. He played his freshman year at Arizona Christian University. Shad has been around the game and has had great coaches in his life and works great with kids.
